Hi my name is Aaron Nunn and I am the managing partner of Lucent Tax and I understand the challenges our clients face because I’ve been there myself. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Shorter University and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Georgia State University. As an Enrolled Agent with the IRS, I have the highest credential awarded by the IRS, allowing me to represent you in all tax matters.

Before becoming an accountant, I managed a building materials supply facility with over $40 million in revenue and inventory, overseeing all aspects of the business. I also spent 10 years in sales with two Fortune 100 companies, where I excelled in driving sales growth and earned numerous awards. This diverse background gives me a comprehensive understanding of financial management and strategic planning.

Hi I am Rebekah Madsen and I have over 20 years of experience in taxes and accounting, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my clients. As an Enrolled Agent with the IRS, I hold the highest designation awarded by the IRS, making me uniquely qualified to handle a wide range of tax matters. Specializing in small business taxes and accounting, I provide tailored solutions that help businesses thrive. I have been a proud resident of the Atlanta area my entire life, with Forsyth County being my home for the last 20 years. My husband, Scott, a dedicated firefighter, and I have been happily married for 24 years and are blessed with four wonderful children. Meet Joanna Wedemeyer

Hi, I’m Joanna Wedemeyer! At Lucent Tax in Woodstock, Georgia, I wear many hats as a Tax Preparer, Assistant Accountant, and Secretary. I’m also on the path to becoming an Enrolled Agent, studying under Aaron Nunn’s guidance to advance my professional career.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Physics, specializing in Astrophysics. After that, I spent three years working at the South Western Research Institute while taking graduate courses at the University of Texas, San Antonio.

Covid brought a lot of change to everyone’s lives, mine especially. I fell in love with my partner, reimagined my future, moved back to Georgia, and eventually decided to change directions from Physics to Finance. It’s been a challenge at times, but hey, at least it’s not Rocket Science!
